The Utah County Beekeepers Association occasionally offers classes for all interested parties. Below you will find information on upcoming classes.

Beginners Class
Open to all interested parties

Dates: February 18^th, Classroom instruction
                April (TBA) Apiary Visit
Times: 9am - 3pm (there will be one half hour for lunch)
Location:  Blendtec lunchroom, 1206 South 1680 West, Orem. (they are not the sponsor. DO NOT call                           them for additional information). Entrance is first set of double doors facing south, there will                           have a message on the door.
RSVP by: February 11^th, 2012; We need a minimum of 10 RSVP to carry the class. If we do not have                        10, the class will be cancelled. Please check emails prior to class just in case problems arise.
Items you need to supply:Classroom - paper and pen for notes. Apiary visit - you will need to bring a                        veil, helmet and gloves for the apiary visit
Cost:  $50 per person or $70 per couple (includes membership, one book and a tee shirt)
FYI: If you are interested in starting a hive this year, hives and bees need to be ordered ASAP! Visit             the beekeeping supplies page or classifieds for local suppliers, or search the Internet.

The UCBA gives you a chance to meet with other beekeepers at least monthly

Intermediate Class
Open to all interested but geared toward the beekeeper with at least 1 year behind them

Dates: May 12t^th, May 19^th, TBD (class is ALL three dates)
Times: 9am to 2pm with a one half hour lunch break

Items you need to supply: You will need a helmet/veil and other safety gear as we will be in                        apiary for one of the dates
Cost: $50 per person or $70 per couple (includes a book and tee shirt)
Limited to the first 20 people

Soap Class
Limited to 10 people - an additional class time may be added if needed
